Game endings

Each specific finale scene is based on the time you take to complete the game and/or your item collection percentage. Read on below for what you'll receive in each ending.

The Five Endings (for North American and European versions)

View the ending North American and European Ending 1:

Beat the game over 4 hours without 100% items collected and Samus will pose with her suit still completely on.
View the ending North American and European Ending 2:

Same as above - Samus shimmers and her face is revealed, but the final pose is one with her standing side-on with her left arm raised, she still has her suit on apart from the helmet. Beat the game between 2 and 4 hours without 100% items collected to see this.
View the ending North American and European Ending 3:

Complete the game under 2 hours without 100% of items collected. When Samus appears her suit shimmers before her helmet disappears, revealing her face. She then appears posing without her armor on wearing a two-piece navy blue outfit.

Similar to Ending 3, Samus appears wearing her two-piece navy blue outfit but she's in a different pose. Complete the game over 2 hours with 100% of items collected for this one.

Complete the game under 2 hours with 100% of items collected. When Samus shimmers the entire suit disappears, revealing her sporting the navy blue two-piece outfit, you then see her posing with a larger slightly-transparent image of herself in the background.

The Eleven Endings (Japanese version)

Each ending in the Japanese version of the game is different depending on the difficulty mode, item percentage and time completion. Each one is as follows:

Beat the game on Normal mode over 4 hours.

Beat the game on Normal mode between 2 and 4 hours.

Beat the game on Normal mode under 2 hours.
View the ending Japanese Ending 5:

Beat the game on Normal mode over 2 hours with 100% items collected.

Beat the game on Normal mode under 2 hours with 100% items collected.

Beat the game on Hard mode over 4 hours.

Note that some endings show the same scenes as in the North American and European versions, while others show incredible artwork of various events in Samus' past, such as being rescued as a child by the Chozo and her training to become the Entrusted One.
